Meet Shannon

We immediately took a liking to Shannon who is an upstanding young lady. The way in which she answered our interview questions proved to us that she has a very passion in life for children, and for helping people in general. She is compassionate and caring, and would give up just about anything to help someone who needs her. Shannon has chosen to make working with children her career of choice and she is eager to gain as much experience as possible in the field. Her experience includes being an au pair (both locally and abroad), camp facilitator, homework assistant (during lockdown) and volunteer. She is an excellent homework assistant as she is aware of different strategies to break through to a child when it comes to teaching them. We believe that Shannon’s biggest strength is her reliability and her sense of responsibility, which she does not take lightly. She is an excellent planner and organiser, and she will find stimulating activities to keep children entertained rather than giving them screen time. She has proven herself to have the skills and experience to be a very successful au pair, and we are happy to recommend her for this role.
