We enjoyed speaking with Keren during her interview with us and found her to be a calm yet confident, intelligent person who is very mature for her age. Her plan is to work as an au pair for the next few years and begin studying at UNISA next year – perhaps a teaching qualification. Keren has a strong academic background and being able to teach children is part of why she enjoys being an au pair so much. She is even able to assist with homework up to Grade 12 level for most subjects. When it comes to Keren’s approach, she enjoys spending time outdoors would like to encourage children to do the same. Other activities she likes to get them to participate in are baking, board games, arts and crafts, listening to music, or even outings such as the zoo or the ice-skating rink. Another strength for Keren is her ability and love of cooking, which she will gladly accept as part of her responsibilities should the family require it. We enjoyed Keren’s calm confidence – she seems as if she will be able to keep calm in stressful situations. She has a combination of traits that are desirable in an au pair: willingness to go the extra mile, organised, and down-to-earth. With these qualities, we have no doubt that she will be able to take on the role quickly and do a fantastic job – therefore, we are pleased to recommend her for any au pair or tutor position.
